It was like a mini Mardi Gras! Guests were treated to live entertainment once the parade reached the showroom. Casino guests lined the common areas waiting to catch beads and coins. Parade floats built atop golf carts snaked through the crowd. Someone will knock over a glass of red wine on the white table cloth in the center of the room!Įver been to an indoor Mardi Gras Parade? Guests were led from the casino floor through the hallways by a New Orleans style jazz band. Photos are taken before people come in and get too “comfortable”.
I’m a huge fan of snapping room shots before guests arrive. Our day began with various room and decor setup shots.
Belterra’s 19 Steak House took on a French Quarter vibe. Traditional Mardi Gras colors were used to decorate the main dining room. Actors stood in the cemetery painted like statues. Louis Cemetery was recreated in the registration room. Mardi Gras, jazz and great food were the main focus. This year’s festivities had a New Orleans theme. Looking for a Cincinnati event photographer? This New Year’s Eve marked our 9th year snapping pics for Belterra Casino! We absolutely LOVE capturing photos and video for them.
